The Best Options For Branded Concessions

The process of ordering branded concessions, such as Lilo and Stitch popcorn buckets or Minions plush toys, is often perceived as inaccessible to small, independent theaters. While the ordering process is more involved than it would be with your usual vendors, it is not out of reach. 

The main 4 companies that we highly recommend for branded concessions are Onni, Snap Creative, RCM Media, and Golden Link. Although each company has its own ordering process, there are general industry standards that theaters must take into consideration to receive branded concessions. 

Generally, orders are required to be submitted 6-8 months before a film opens. These companies do not usually keep backstock of products, meaning that they must make everything to order. To stay informed about the ordering timeline, please get in touch with the individuals listed at the bottom of this article.

Due to embargo dates, this usually means that theaters cannot preview the product they are ordering at the time. Product designers work closely with the studios to ensure the quality of the product design, meaning that audience members are unlikely to dislike the product if they are interested in the respective film. Please do not promote any concession items before the embargo date.  

The return policies for these items are specific to the individual company and are handled on a case-by-case basis. 

There are often minimum order quantities required for branded concessions. If you are unable to purchase the minimum order quantity required by the vendor, it may be worth reaching out to other local theaters in the area to process an order together.
