Verl Clark is an industry veteran. With over 40 years experience in the business, Verl got his start working at his hometown theater in Wyoming before moving on to manage different theaters, from indoors to drive-ins, in a variety of locations across the Western United States. In 1978 Verl took a job film buying, settling in Bozeman, MT, a move that would solidify his company’s roots in the charismatic and thriving city. Living in Bozeman has allowed him to raise a wonderful family and lead an active outdoor lifestyle. In his spare time Verl enjoys hunting, fishing and “getting lost” in Montana’s wide open spaces. For the last 20 years Verl has cultivated his own film buying agency, Clark Film Buying, with his business partner Drew Devlin. Throughout his time in the industry, Verl has worked alongside many amazing and respected individuals. These experiences have turned into lasting relationships that have cemented Verl's excellent reputation in the industry.
Drew Devlin worked at indoor theaters, a multiplex and a drive-in, years before he became a film buyer in 1989. He also worked for several theater chains — Theatre Operators Inc., Excellence, Carmike and Cinemark — before partnering with Verl at Clark Film Buying. When he's not booking movies, Drew enjoys watching them, particularly anything James Bond. He enjoys weekly movie nights with his wife, daughter and Irish Water Spaniel who can't seem to sit still through a whole feature!
Being the daughter of Verl Clark, Codi Kruse was immersed in the film buying business at a young age, officially joining Clark Film Buying ten years ago. Codi grew up in Bozeman, Montana where she graduated from Montana State University with bachelor’s degrees in political science and history. After an internship in Washington D.C., however, she decided that a life in politics was not for her. She seized the the opportunity to work with her father at his company and has never regretted her decision to join the family business. Codi loves the profession and utilizes the latest technology to create a more efficient and transparent film buying experience. She values open communication and establishing a close relationship with all of her clients. When she’s not working in the office, Codi spends her time with her husband and two sons.
